Umee is a decentralized, cross-chain, DeFi hub that aims to facilitate seamless interactions between distinct blockchain ecosystems. It's a base layer blockchain protocol designed to enable the borrowing and lending of digital assets across multiple blockchains. Built using Tendermint Proof of Stake consensus protocol, the Umee blockchain provides interoperability with the Cosmos ecosystem, Ethereum network, side chain architectures, L2 scaling solutions, and alternative base layer protocols.
